The Hague fair – 02nd February 2020
On 2nd February 2020, Aadhaar4U had a very successful fundraiser event at The Hague Fair. Similar to the last year, this year also Aadhaar4U stall offered Indian lunch in addition to snacks and drinks. The event was a grand success for the organization.
The fair took place at the Hague City Hall and was attended by around 3000 people. Aadhaar4U promoted its activities by displaying standee banners, distributing flyers and selling hand-made greeting cards and cotton hand-bags prepared by the supported charity organizations back in India. The fund raising activity was a huge success. In addition, the fair helped us enormously to increase awareness of our activities within international community form the Hague area. The all the funds collected during the event will be used for Aadhaar4U’s project at Snehalaya in 2020-2021.
Thanks to our volunteers Snehal Phadke, Priya Tawade, Prasad Tawade, Dipika Joshi, Om Joshi, Urjita Joshi, Ketaki Desai, Ashwini Mulekar, Amit Rode, Sayali Jadhav, Nishant Lawand, Vrinda Thakur and Girish Thakur who were present at the stand helping and promoting our activities.
Similar to the last two years, this year too the fair’s organizers, Ms. Claire Bishton and Mr. Billy Allwood, provided a free of cost charity stand to us to raise funds during the event. We would like to thank both of them and look forward to a long-term association with “Feel at Home in the Hague” organization.
