On 02nd September 2017, Netherlands Marathi Mandal (NMM) honoured Aadhaar4U for its relentless work since 2006 to support various charity organizations from remote areas of Maharashtra. NMM selected Aadhaar4U for this year’s honorary award “Rashmin Award of Gratitude.” On 2nd September 2017 at Diamant theater, Den Haag the award was presented by the honourable Indian Ambassador of the Netherlands, Mr. Venu Rajamony. On behalf of Aadhaar4U, Mr. Girish Thakur collected the award. Mrs. Snehal Phadke gave a brief introduction of Aadhaar4U’s work and Aadhaar4U-Naam video was screened for the viewers.
This special event helped us in creating awareness for Aadhaar4U’s current project “Project Blue” for Naam foundation. The fund raising activity included selling greeting cards and home-made delicious “Besan Ladoos.” The ladoos were prepared and packed by the volunteers, Mrs. Ashwini Mulekar, Mr. Santosh Mulekar, Mrs. Anuya Rode, Mr. Amit Rode, Mrs. Sayali Jadhav, Mr. Nishant Lawand, Mrs. Ramola Rege, Mr. Hrishikesh Sahasrabuddhe, Mrs. Vrinda Thakur and Mr. Girish Thakur.
